Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making tendodigital.com usable and inclusive for every visitor.

Last reviewed: April 10, 2026

1. Our Commitment

Tendo Digital LLC believes the web should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. We are committed to ensuring that our website and Client Portal meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA conformance level. Accessibility is not a one-time project for us—it is an ongoing practice baked into our design and development workflow.

2. What We've Done

We have implemented the following measures to support accessibility across tendodigital.com:

  • Semantic HTML: All pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, ARIA labels, and native HTML elements to ensure assistive technologies can parse the content accurately.
  • Keyboard navigation: Every interactive element—links, buttons, forms, dropdowns, and the mobile menu—is fully operable with a keyboard. Focus indicators are visible on all interactive controls.
  • Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against their backgrounds, verified with automated and manual testing.
  • Responsive design: The site adapts to screen sizes from 320px upward, supports pinch-to-zoom, and does not rely on horizontal scrolling.
  • Reduced motion: Animations are suppressed when the user has enabled the "prefers-reduced-motion" setting in their operating system.
  • Skip navigation link: A "Skip to main content" link is provided at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
  • Alternative text: All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes so screen readers skip them.
  • Form labels: Every form input has a visible, programmatically associated label. Error messages are clear and announced to assistive technologies.

3. Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is a continuous process. We regularly:

  • Run automated accessibility scans using axe-core and Lighthouse on every deployment.
  • Conduct manual keyboard and screen-reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver) during each major feature release.
  • Train team members on accessibility best practices as part of our development onboarding.
  • Review and incorporate feedback from users who report accessibility barriers.

4. Known Limitations

While we strive for full conformance, we acknowledge that some areas may have limitations:

  • Third-party embeds: Content embedded from external services (e.g., video players, maps) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We work with providers that prioritize accessibility and provide fallback content where possible.
  • Legacy blog content: Some older blog posts may contain images without optimal alt text. We are retroactively updating these as part of our content review process.
  • PDF documents: Downloadable PDFs may have limited accessibility tagging. We are transitioning to tagged PDF generation and will update existing documents as they are revised.

5. Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our website is designed to be compatible with:

  • Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS)
  • Magnification: Browser zoom up to 400%, ZoomText, Windows Magnifier
  • Keyboard-only navigation in all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)

6. Feedback & Contact

We take accessibility feedback seriously. If you encounter a barrier on our website or in the Client Portal, or if you need content in an alternative format, please let us know:

When reporting an issue, please include the page URL, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We aim to acknowledge all accessibility reports within 3 business days and resolve confirmed issues within 30 days.
